Clean Fueled Vehicles Council

New York State's Clean Water/Clean Air Bond Act of 1996 detailed a comprehensive plan to enhance the environment of New York State through implementation of a number of projects to improve water and air quality. The Clean Fueled Vehicles Council, chaired by the Commissioner of the Office of General Services, was established to guide the progress of the state's initiative to incorporate alternative fueled vehicles into its daily operations. Council members include:

	Department of Correctional Services			New York State Thruway Authority
	Department of Environmental Conservation			Office of Children and Family Services
	Department of Motor Vehicles			Office of General Services
	Department of Tax and Finance			Office of Mental Health
	Department of Transportation			Office of Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities
	Division of the Budget			Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation
	Empire State Development			Port Authority of New York and New Jersey
	New York Power Authority			State University of New York
