Raul Acosta Y Oro Sólido – http://www.myspace.com/orosolido
Formed in 1994 by Raul Acosta, better know as “El Presidente del Merengue,” Oro Sólido is New York’s hottest and most established merengue band. With hits like “Ta Cache,” “La Tanguita Roja,” “Maria se Fue” and many more, Oro Sólido has surpassed many barriers when it comes to performing in the Anglo media and having their music played on English-speaking radio. Their latest album, “Fantasia Urbana” is available now.

Soñando - http://www.sonando.net/home.html
The hot Latin sounds of Soñando have earned them the reputation as the Hudson Valley's premier Latin band. This spicy blend of music and musicians have performed in clubs, at private functions, community festivals, benefit concerts, on radio and television, as well as the Puerto Rico Day Parade in NYC, but the band is at home wherever a dance floor can be cleared. Fueled by a fiery rhythm section and high-octane horns, Soñando plays a wide variety of Latin styles from Plena and Son to Salsa and Merengue!

Manikkomio
Manikkomio is as notable for its visual gimmick as for its blend of merengue and club-ready house. From the beginning, these five talented and physically attractive singers have toured not only in the United States but also all over the world. The group's self-titled debut was released in 1998, producing the club hits "Piensa en Mi" and "El Kolmo." The 1999 follow-up, Manikkomio International, produced the group's biggest hit yet in "Lokko Enamorado." The group's third album, Manikkomio 2001, produced hits in "Ya Tu Sabes" and "La Jonronera."
